She was predeceased by: her husband John W. Thompson, Sr.; her parents, Herbert L. Hardy and Kate Hardy Jones; and her sister Jean Hardy Jones. She is survived by: her children, Sheila Jenkins (Charles) of Talmo, Sharon Garcille (Johnny) of Loganville, GA and John Thompson, Jr. (Tracey) of Lawrenceville, GA; her siblings, Lamar Hardy (Julie) of Snellville, GA., Shirley Mize of Loganville, GA. and Jane Shabel of Hartwell, GA; and her sister-in-law Sandy Thompson of Lexington, KY. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
