She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Ervin Harold Handke and Zelma Lavon Cox Handke; and her sister Anita Nance. She is survived by: her husband Earnest Wayne Sanders of Snellville, GA; her daughter Carrie Shattles (Trevor) of Hoschton, GA.; her grandchildren, Amber Underwood, Brandon Underwood (Meghan), Shelby Shattles, Hannah Munden (Aden), Cody Shattles (Breanna), Madison Sanders, Wyatt Sanders and Dylan Sanders; her great grandchildren, Everly Underwood, Adelynn Underwood, Henry and Baby Shattles; and her pets, Misty and Lady Val.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Oak Road Lutheran Church (1004 Oak Rd SW, Lilburn, GA 30047). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Snellville Masonic Lodge 2785 (2785 Lenora Church Rd, Snellville, GA 30078).
