He was predeceased by: his grandmother Mary Christine Joyner; and his mother Mary Octavia Westbrook. He is survived by: his grandfather Joyner; his father James Arthur Westbrook; his wife Barbara Huckleberry Westbrook; his daughter Laura Westbrook Spikes; and his grandchildren, Jamie Anne Spikes and Jacob Henry Spikes.
