It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard A. Groff (Snellville, Georgia), born in Harlingen, Texas, who passed away on February 20, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyrus Groff and Gertrude Groff; and his brother Fredrick A. Groff of McKinney, TX.. He is survived by: his wife Linda G. Groff; his brother Robert Groff (Bob) of Phoenix, AZ; his children, Emma Blackwell (Cathy) of Salem, OR, Derek Kemmerlin (Chenin) of Suwanee, GA and Jared Groff (Christina) of Snellville, GA; his grandchildren, Aspen, Sage, Zach Kemmerlin, Hatcher, Aidan, Sadie Kemmerlin, Addison and Aubrey Groff; and his great grandchild Owen Kemmerlin Blank.

During the Covid lockdown, he and Derek built an outdoor kitchen at Derek's house and in typical Richard fashion, he carved Derek a sign for him to hang to commemorate their achievement.
