Phyllis B. Ashley Obituary

Phyllis Burch Ashley went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 6th, 2023, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's.

She was preceded in death by her father, Al Burch; mother, Katherine Burch; and sister, Geraldine Kingsley (Ray). She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Russell Ashley; and two loving sons, Jeff Ashley (Cindy), Wesley Ashley; and sister, Kathy Gold (Bob);. She leaves behind six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and everyone who knew her.

She was a very outgoing person, never met a stranger, and made friends so easily. She inherited a quick wit from her father, and was never short of a comeback or a joke. She was a talented lady and could do most anything that she put her mind to. When the boys were old enough she decided to go back to work as an office manager for a medical group. She retired in 2000.

She was a member of Church on Main in Snellville, Georgia and the Berachah bible school class. She was very much loved by all of her friends in bible school.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel.
