It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nelson W. Sechrist of Snellville, Georgia, born in Danville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 9, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Clayton Thomas Sechrist; his parents, Clayton Woodrow Sechrist and Alverna Bolig Sechrist; and his sister Margaret Swartzlander. He is survived by: his wife Ann Kieley Sechrist; his son James Nelson Sechrist (Joannah); his granddaughter Mya Ruth Sechrist of Portland, Oregon; his brother Daniel Robert Sechrist of Berryville, VA; and his friends, James and Dan.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the GA Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Nelson W. Sechrist.
