She is survived by: her son Keshav Chandran; her mother Bimala Sankar; her sisters, Malini Sankar, Priya Sankar Snell (Devon Snell) and Veena Sankar (Brett MacAdam); her niece Diviya Rajesh; her nephews, Colton and Stephen Sankar Snell; and her caregivers, Beth and Willie Smith.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Eternal Hills Funeral Home (3594 Stone Mountain Hwy, Snellville, GA 30039).
