It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine Berrell Knox of Snellville, Georgia, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on April 2, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Berrell and Francis Berrell; her husband Roy C. Knox Jr.; and her siblings, Pat Berrell and Diana Mueller.
She is survived by: her daughter Carol Smith (Steve); her stepson Roy C. Knox III; her siblings, Lou Berrell and Sheila Reid; her grandchildren, Patrick Smith, John D. Smith, Kendall Smith, Steven Smith (Kazie) and Crystal Wade (Kraig); her great grandchildren, Jaden Smith, Wyatt Smith, Myles Smith, Jeremiah Wade, Kraig Wade Jr. and Kayden Wade; her nephew Kevin Reid (Tracey); and her great-nieces, Jamie Reid and Rebecca Reid. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Seacrest Wolf Preserve, 3449 Bonnett Pond Road, Chipley, FL 32428, https://www.seacrestwolfpreserve.org where Lorraine also volunteered and had the opportunity to be around the wolves that she loved.
