Leela Sharma Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 11, 2023, at the age of 77, Leela Sharma (Snellville, Georgia) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leela Sharma to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Geevarghese Thomas (Chinnamma Thomas) and Leela; her husband Dr. Vidya Dhar Sharma; her siblings, Varghese Thomas (Leelamma Varghese), Susan Varghese (Samuel Varghese), Thomas Abraham (Susan Abraham), Annie Roy (Roy Varghese) and Thampy Thomas (Sally Thomas); her children, Jyoti Sharma (Gregory Sale) and Suresh Sharma; her grandchildren, Kiran and Ravi; her stepchildren, Shailesh Sharma (Deana Sharma) and Poonam Sharma (Dinesh Sharma); and her stepgrandchildren, Aarti Sharma (Navin Kulkarni), Puja Sharma, Dylan Sharma and Gracie Sharma.

A viewing session will commence at 11:00 a.m., followed by a formal service at 1:00 p.m. and burial at 2:00 p.m. In place of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Leela's memory to Raksha, Inc., a group that works towards healing, empowerment, and justice for South Asian survivors of violence.
