She is survived by: her husband Hugh Buchanan; her daughter Amy; her son-in-law Andy Rykard of Valdosta, GA.; her daughter Emily; her son-in-law Bronson Swancey of Jefferson, GA.; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Rykard of Valdosta, GA., Abby Rykard of Valdosta, GA. and Jackson Swancey of Jefferson, GA..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel (3705 US-78, Snellville, GA 30039). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Smoke Rise Baptist Church (5901 Hugh Howell Rd, Stone Mountain, GA 30087).
