She was predeceased by: her parents, Ambrose Portis and Ruby Portis (Lowry); her son Eric Portis Sr.; and her siblings, Debbie Tutt, Ronald and Joe Portis.
She is survived by: her children, Nicole Portis, Jackie Lattimore (Sherman), Robyn Maultsby (Sidney) and Rene Tolliver; her grandchildren, Sereniti, Eric Jr., Zaria, Derrick, Jaden, Sherman and Sebastian; and her siblings, Lynda Williams and Larry Portis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
