He was predeceased by: his parents, Dillard Henry Duncan and Lessie Irby Duncan; his wife Frances Darnell Duncan; and his brothers, Clarence, Richard, Arthur Lee, Lester and Dillard Duncan.
He is survived by: his nieces, Janet D. Gibbs, Isabella C. Schaefer and Susanna B. Duncan; and his nephew William Duncan.
