He was predeceased by: his brother Lance Lanier; his son Anson Brent Lanier; his wife Debbie Lanier; and his parents, Royce Lanier and Barbara Lanier.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Todd Lanier of Canton and Erin Snow Oates (Wyatt) of Tucker, GA; his granddaughters, Lily Annelise Oates and Natalie Ansley Oates; and his brother Gray Lanier (Roz) of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family, and a great many cherished friends.
