He is survived by: his sons, Darren Jefferson (Tisha) of Nashville, TN and Jason Andrew (Alyssa Jackson) of Decatur, GA; his wife Martha Clay (Umphrey); and his siblings-in-law, Kim Scott Clay, Miriam Umphrey Kidd, Debra McManus Umphrey, Bobby Kidd and Ronnie Umphrey. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
