She was predeceased by: her husband William Joseph Gardner, Sr.; her daughters, Sheila Gail Hyatt, Regina Anne Kitchens and Melissa Jean Hamby; her parents, Herman Davis and Wilma Parker (Henderson); and her siblings, Perinne Slayton and Gerald Lee Parker.
She is survived by: her children, William Joseph Gardner, Jr. of Smyrna, GA, Diana Lynn Hutchens of Summerville, GA and Kenneth Eugene Gardner of Snellville, GA; and her brother William Roland Parker of Gillsville, GA. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren; numerous family and friends.
