We are sad to announce that on June 24, 2024, at the age of 80, Wayne Landrum Waldrip of Smyrna, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Taylor Waldrip and Martha Emma Glore; his former wife Carol Crain Waldrip; and his brothers, Daniel Waldrip, Jr. and Carey Waldrip, Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Judy Waldrip of Smyrna, GA; his sons, Jesse Waldrip (Holly) of Lexington, SC and Jonathan Waldrip of Marietta, GA; his stepchildren, Jenny Essary of Floyd, NM and Brian James (Nancy) of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Juliet, Evelyn, Iris Waldrip, Shelby, Ch'ree, Chance, Andrew Essary and Somi James; and his cousin Tom Alexander (Phyllis). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to MUST Ministries, Tillman House Resource Center, or a charity of your choice in memory of Wayne.
