It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lee Owens of Smyrna, Georgia, who passed away on March 18, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Waddell Owens; his parents, Claude Owens and Grace Owens; his brothers, Junior and Jimmy Owens; and his great grandchildren, Taya, Tessa and Tenly Tatum.
He is survived by: his daughters, Robin Cantrell (Ken) of Franklin and Melanie Tatum of Jackson; his siblings, Ronnie Owens, Francis Reddish, Betty Rowell and Jeannie Hawkins; his grandchildren, Kinley, Noah, Lily Cantrell, Austin Tatum, Lovey Burpee (Caleb) and Garrett Mays; and his great grandchild Waylon Burpee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
