He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeffrey C. Hudgins and Bertha Hudgins; and his siblings, Aletha Hair, Miriam Harrington, Kent Hudgins, Carolyn Head, Diane Hudgins and Donna Babiak.
He is survived by: his wife Dale; his children, Holli Hudgins Lange (Bryan) and Jill Hudgins Cope (Billy); and his grandsons, Connor Jeremy Lange and Jacob Robert Lange. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Bobby Hudgins' honor to Smyrna First Baptist Church.
