It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myra Jo Pendleton of Smyrna, Georgia, born in Haralson, Georgia, who passed away on March 24, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Cecil Payton and Fannie Pearl Head Payton; and her siblings, Mary Payton, Shelma Payton, Kenneth Payton and Tommy Payton.
She is survived by: her close friend Johnny Greene of Smyrna; her sons, David Pendleton of Montana, Rodney Pendleton of Villa Rica and Jeffery Burrows of Kennesaw; her siblings, Linda Horwatt of Roanoke, VA, Deborah Brandenburg of Austell, Becky Payton of Auburn, GA, Robert Payton of Independence, MO and Pat Payton of Loganville; and her grandchildren, Allyson Pendleton, Zackery Pendleton, Chloe Platero, Gus Surechief and Hayley Surechief. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
