She was predeceased by: her parents, John A. Rice and Nellie Johnson Rice; and her sister-in-law Connie Rice. She is survived by: her husband Larry Freeman; her daughters, Brittany Freeman and Katie Wasserman (Peter); her brother John A. Rice; her granddaughters, Ellie and Julia Wasserman; and her niece Chelsea McKelvey.
