She was predeceased by: her parents, John Shepherd and Mary Shepherd of Concord, NC.. She is survived by: her children, Sheri, Ellen and Peter; her grandsons, John Peeples, Robert Peeples, Michael Milberger and Daniel Milberger; and her great grandchildren, Rory and Mila Rose Peeples.
