She was predeceased by: her husband William Sanford Askew, II; and her sister Lane Young Cook. She is survived by: her children, Lida Y. Askew of Smyrna and William S. "Bill" Askew, III of Smyrna; her sister Bonnie Young of Atlanta; and her grandchildren, Andrew Dean Askew and Emily Anne Askew.
Due to COVID, there will be a celebration of life at a later date.
