It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leland Grimsley of Smyrna, Georgia, who passed away on August 14, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Doris; his children, Rick Grimsley (Kim), Steve Grimsley (Cindy), Lisa Grimsley and Karen Parker (David); and his grandchildren, Ellen, Danielle, Isabella and Jackson. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation in Russ's name to Cobb Senior Services Meals on Wheels, the Smyrna Optimist Club, or the charity of your choice.
