She was predeceased by: her father Johnny Smith; her husband Idus Maddox; her children, Anthony Maddox and Joyce Maddox Glass; and her grandson Ray Golden Glass Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Stan Maddox (Terri Rowan) and Rhonda Beatty (Paul); and her daughter-in-law Stephanie Maddox. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
