Carmichael (Amelia), John Randolph Carmichael, Jr. (Angie), Evan Wix and Kacey Smith (Tracy); his siblings, Jim Carmichael (Richard Ferlita) and Angharad Sinclair; his grandchildren, Callie Olivia Smith, Caitlynn Emma, Caleb Shane Smith, John Thomas Carmichael, Charles Miller Carmichael and John Randolph Carmichael, III; his niece Andrea Sinclair; and his nephew Christopher Sinclair.
