He is survived by: his wife Helen Elizabeth "Betty" Waldron; his daughter Marsha Hamby Savage (Haywood); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Ashley Bacon Mize and Max Tyler Bacon; and his great grandchildren, Abigail "Abby" Mize, Harrison Bacon, Tripp Bacon and Claudia Bacon.
