He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Wilson Mize and Clemmie Crane Mize; and his brother Woodrow "Woody" Mize. He is survived by: his wife Janice Hughes of Leeds, AL; his sisters, Patricia of Washington, Mary Ruth Green and Jeannie Phillips; his sons, Brian and Matthew Mize; and his grandchildren, Carter Mize, Addison, Avery and Olivia Mize.
