He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Gaskin and Irene Gaskin; and his siblings, Lonnie, James, Joe Gaskin, Lavern Vitange, Patricia Ann Decker and Jackie Dalley.
He is survived by: his wife Billie Gaskin (Hackney); his son Chad Gaskin (Donna) of Lavonia Ga; and his sisters, Judy Vickers (James) and Jeri Strickland (Jim). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
