It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgia Eloise Helton of Smyrna, Georgia, born in Newnan, Georgia, who passed away on May 4, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Hollis "Bud" Smallwood; her parents, Ewin Chandler and Ella Chandler (Lane); her siblings, A. B., Glen Chandler and Helen Brady; and her children, Charlotte and William "Bill" Smallwood.
She is survived by: her sister Wilma Hales; her children, Michael Smallwood of Smyrna, Sandra (Joe Erni) of Douglasville and Karen (Jon Cunningham) of Canton, GA.; her grandchildren, Hope, Mike, Kelly, Alex, Bridget and Trinity; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Madeline, Emmylou, Ellis, Mark, Luke and Eloise.
