We are sad to announce that on March 16, 2022, Gene McCord of Smyrna, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Anne McCord; and his sister Adelaide Schrouder. He is survived by: his children, Cathy Kubasov of Travelers Rest, SC, Mark McCord (Tracy) of Smyrna and Phil McCord (Valarie) of Marietta; his sister Linda Ellis of Marietta; his grandchildren, Jennifer O'Bryant (Joey), Christy Ames (Eric), Jacob McCord (Cecelia), Leigh Anne McCord, Mary Anne Kubasov, Jessica Kubasov and Rachel Kubasov; and his great grandchildren, Anniston O'Bryant and Adalyn O'Bryant.
