We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2024, at the age of 92, Floyd H Chunn Jr. of Smyrna, Georgia, born in Knoxville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Floyd's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Floyd's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as his find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his sisters, Martha Culbert of Oak Ridge and Barbara Ruffner of Decatur, AL.. He is survived by: his sister Mary Anderson (Kenneth); his children, Diane (Ronny) and David (Kim); his stepdaughter Coryell; and his grandchildren, Dr. Raegan Chunn, Hayden Chunn and Carly.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920).
