He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Gibson and Vara Shook Gibson; and his son Scotty Gibson. He is survived by: his sons, Doug (Debra Gibson) and Paul (Brenda Gibson); his sisters, Shirley Stamey of Ranger, NC and Margie Garrett of Ranger, NC; and his grandchildren, Heather Wise, Robby Gibson, Kendra Schane, Tosha Raper, Joshua Gibson, Tyler Gibson, Jessica Gibson and Ashley Ingram. He is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Flowers are accepted, however if you wish, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
