With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Merritt Sutherland Jr. (Smyrna, Georgia), born in Paducah, Kentucky, who passed away on July 21, 2019 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Merritt Sutherland and Marjorie Follis Sutherland Riecke. He is survived by: his wife Janice McGee Sutherland; his children, Jessica Levenson (Ryan) of Atlanta and David Sutherland (Rhonda) of Smyrna; and his siblings, Stephen Sutherland (Nancy) of Brentwood, TN, Dr. Scott Sutherland (Mary Ann) of Cadiz, KY and Jan Morris (Rick) of Cadiz, KY. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 10 nieces and nephews.
