With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Ernest Welsh (Smyrna, Georgia), who passed away on July 13, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert and Marcella Welsh; his wife Kaye Frances Trombetta Welsh; his daughter Erin Charles Welsh; and his sister Frances Welsh Hellinghausen.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marion K. Welsh, Kelli A. Welsh of Smyrna, Georgia and Karol Welsh Heath of Dallas; his grandchildren, Steven Heath (Chelsea), Michael Heath, Patrick Coerver, Katie Coerver Alhatllan Smyrna (Mishall), Joe Heath and Kelli Heath of Dallas; his sisters, Patricia Whelan, Bellevue, Ill, Shirley Cashore and Kathleen Schwartz (Jim); and his siblings-in-law, Sara Brocato and Paul Hellinghausen of Houston. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and grandnieces and nephew Judge Welsh was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather.
In lieu of flowers, friends may honor Judge Welsh through gifts to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or Catholic Legal Immigration Network.
