He is survived by: his son James Walker Herring of Mableton; his mother Joy Dennis Herring; his sisters, Kerri Lynn Herring Hoopes (Gary Hoopes) of Sandy Springs and Melissa Herring Brooks of Smyrna; his nephews, Matthew and James; his niece Amy; and also Sarah Herring. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
