She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles McCrary and Ada Carlisle McCrary; her husband Jack Taylor; and her sister Lillian McCrary Ward. She is survived by: her children, Ellen (Susan Wells), John (Suzanne) and Paul (Donna); her grandchildren, Adam Taylor, Ben Taylor, Callan Wells (Nick Stephens), Amanda Church (Cesar Gueikian), Shea Croyts, Kristen Chittick (Gabe), Meagan DiPalma (Joe) and John Hulsey; and her caregivers, Kristen Chittick, Sharon Shannon, Natasha Jackson, Brenda Burke, Debbie Thames and Jane Malcolm. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carmichael Funeral Home - Smyrna (2950 King St SE, Smyrna, GA 30080). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations to Smyrna First United Methodist Church, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, or the charity of their choice.
