She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth LaVerne and Ester Matney (Bahnmaier); and her brother Donald Kenneth Matney. She is survived by: her spouse Georgia; her sister Mary Jo Thomas (Matney) of Raleigh, NC; and her friend Jeremy Dixon. She is also survived by two nieces, two nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and Kansas cousins.
