It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Sue Hart of Smithville, Georgia, born in Albany, Georgia, who passed away on August 5, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Denver Rudolph Summerlin and Dora Lee Walls Mulford; and her husband Craig Reed Hart. She is survived by: her children, John Reed Hart (Heather) of Leesburg and Andrea Hart Wilson (Michael) of Ellaville; her grandsons, Jacob Reed Hart, John Wayne Hart, Emmett Reed Wilson and Emory Patterson Wilson; her siblings, Barbara Sheffield (Jeff), Brenda Etchells, Linda Gray (Ray) and Tommy Summerlin (Cindy); and her siblings-in-law, Sara Lynn Swann (Jimmie), Sandra Rogers (Pierre), Nancy Parker, Mona Smith (Scott), Scott Hart, Larry Hart (Darlene) and Mark Hart (Debbie). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID concerns, public viewing and visitation has been changed to immediate family only.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Phoebe-Sumter Medical Center Auxiliary Group.
