He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Thomas Fugate and Doris Shields Fugate; and his daughter Lori Ann Fugate-Brock. He is survived by: his wife Susan Woodward Fugate; his daughters, Allison Fugate McMenamy (Sean) of Macon and Ashley Shields Fugate of Smarr; his sister Judi Fugate Bayless of Chickamauga; and his grandchildren, Josephine, Andrew, Reeves McMenamy and Brady Bowman.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 261, Smarr, GA 31086.
