He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Stuart and Fannie Lee Stuart; and his siblings, Hollis Stuart, Helen Kimbell and Gladys Rogers.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Ham Stuart; his children, Yvonne Stuart, Celeste Stuart Smarr, Stan Stuart (Julie) and Lynn Stuart Deveraux (Bryant); his grandchildren, Nathan Jackson (Michelle), Emily Smarr, Kasey Smarr (Rachael), Branndon Stuart (Laura), Brooke Stuart Hadden (Mike) and Lauren Deveraux Young (Will); his great grandchildren, Melissa Etheridge (Cody), Caleb Etheridge, Gracie, Faith Jackson, Karter Smarr, Dylan Parrish, Kaylee, Riley, Tyler Hadden, Eli Stuart, Matthias Young, Samuel Young and Joy Young; and his brother Wallace Stuart. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
