William Mitchell Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Mitchell of Silver Creek, Georgia, born in Rome, Georgia, who passed away on September 18, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard M. Mitchell and Laura Mae Wilson (Estelle); his wife Julia Ann Summerville Mitchell; his former wife Alice Faye Williams Mitchell; his children, William Cleveland Mitchell (Beth), Edward Duane Mitchell and Martha Ann Mitchell; and his sons-in-law, Anthony Earl Ingle and Jeffery Franklin Duck.

He is survived by: his daughters, MeCindy Faye Kimbrell (Ken) of Rome and Terrie Lynn Duck of Rome; and his grandchildren, Alex Kimbrell, Jennifer Rogers (Tripp), Aaron Ingle, Will Mitchell, Jake Mitchell and Chloe Duck.

He was of the Christian faith and prior to Covid-19 attended Second Avenue Methodist Church.
