It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Von White (Silver Creek, Georgia), born in Rome, Georgia, who passed away on July 4, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, R. B. White and Louise White; his son Waylon Michael White; and his sister Marvel Burk. He is survived by: his wife Joan N. White; his children, Mark White, Ben White (Tyka), Renea Self (Jeff) and Stephanie Mears (Gary); his grandchildren, Carley Saffa, Lane Mears, Shelby Self, Jeffrey Alexander Self and Haley Mears; and his siblings-in-law, Fay White and William Burk.
In keeping with Von's life-long dedication to service, the family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Restoration Lindale, a charity close to Von's heart.
