She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Heslip "Cap" Wallace and Lillian Pearl Bradshaw Wallace; her husband William Glynn Welchel; her siblings, Charlotte Turner of Billy Joe, Wallace, Harold Wallace, Bonnell Wright and Johnny Wallace; and her sister-in-law Janie Welchel.
She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Pearl Wallace and Kenneth Welchel; and her nieces, Pat (Armando) of Montana, Lynn Edge (Steve), Joan Turner (Mark), Jean Williams (Jeff), Valorie Davis (Donnie) and Amy Wright. She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the South Chapel (3002 Maple Rd SE, Rome, GA 30161). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
