He is survived by: his close friend Kelli Denise Ely of Silver Creek; his children, Heather Renee Holcomb (Linden Barnicle) of Mooresville, NC, Tara Evans Ingram (Keith Bray), Byron Lavoy Garrett, Sr., Michael Eugene Garrett (Candace Fowler), Chris Jerome Garrett (Angie), Ricky Lynn Garrett and Jessi Harold Ingram; and his sister Shelia Huffman (John Huffman) of Armuchee, GA. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
