He is survived by: his wife Mellie Merline Beam Pitts; his children, Bob Pitts, John Pitts and Janna Pitts; his sister Rilla Ross of Griffin, GA; his grandchildren, Haley Murray (Drew), Marquitta Phillips, Kristen Laguna and Korey Pitts; his great grandchildren, Keaden Phillips (Skyler), Tayley Phillips, Dega Keith, Asia Keith and Lorelai Laguna; and his great great grandchild Kristian Phillips. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
