Pledger and James Harold Hillis, Sr.; his wife Christine McBurnett; his children, Jenna Ann Hillis, James Michael "Jimmy" Hillis (Stacey) and Jeffrey Dale Hillis (Meghan); his grandchildren, Reagan Peek, Piper Anne Hillis, Loxley James Hillis, Wheeler Alexander Hillis and Milla Lou Hillis; and his siblings, Druann Hillis Marxen of San Diego, CA and Roy Dale Hillis (Lisa). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
