He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Allen Jones and Stella Bell Jones; and his sister Hixey Lynn Jones Brewer. He is survived by: his wife Frances Moody Jones; his children, Harold Jones, Joy Neal (Kennard) of Atlanta and Jane Block (Alan) of Atlanta; his grandchildren, Frances Neal Travis (James) of Charlottesville, VA and John Neal of Nashville, TN; and his siblings-in-law, Eloise Jackson Moody of Houston, TX and Thomas Brewer of Lyerly, GA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Wednesday from 5 until 8 p. m. Masks are recommended for the visitation and the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the H. I. "Ish" Jones Endowed Agricultural Scholarship at Berry College.
