She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Thacker and Maggie Abernathy Thacker; her husband Rev. Grady Loyd Pope; her children, Rev. Grady Lee Pope, Wayne Pope, Kathleen Wiggins and Gulene Hovers; and her sisters, Gene Jefferson and Judy Ginn.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Pope of Aragon, GA, Ricky Pope of Aragon, GA, Rev. Dennis Pope of Aragon, GA and Alicia Shedd (Danny) of Floyd County, GA; and her siblings, Vernon Thacker, Jerry Thacker, Jesse Lee Thacker and Mozell Pope. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
