He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Horace Newton and Genevieve Hoskenson Newton. He is survived by: his wife Carole Nelson Newton; and his daughters, Christy Newton Pruitt (Mike) and Pam Newton Duke (Greg). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
