With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Tyrone Sledge Jr. of Silver Creek, Georgia, born in Rome, Georgia, who passed away on February 16, 2021 at the age of 56. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Tyrone Sledge Jr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, David Sledge Sr. and Joyce Elaine Sledge; his grandparents, John David Sledge and Jackie Sledge; his nephew Jordan Sledge; and his father-in-law Rev. Glen Studdard.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Sledge; his sons, Dustin Sledge and Drew Sledge (Elise); his grandchildren, Olivia Jones and Memphis Ty Sledge; his brother Todd Sledge; and his aunts and uncles, Ken Sledge (Beverly), Robert Sledge (Wilma), Faye and Shirley Money.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the North Georgia chapter of the Alzheimer's Association in Ty's name, or to Tapestry Hospice of Northwest Georgia.
